 Activities  Mountain Climbing Instruction

Aside from annual inventory and inspection, the rope locker consists of the activity organizers, who may check out snow ropes immediately after annual inspection in December or January. Rock and ice ropes may be checked out at or after the basic climb school in spring. Activity organizers are encouraged to keep ropes for the climbing season. All ropes are to be returned to the main locker by December for inspection.

Members in possession of club ropes are responsible to know of the rope's use. Therefore, ropes may not be loaned to non-members. When necessary, wash ropes prior to return.

The main rope check out location is at Craig's (503.970.5471). However, any checked out rope may be borrowed from the member who has it. The system is intended to provide accountability and convenience.

Besides rope, there are snow anchors, two flukes and six pickets with slings (not pictured below).
