Ten SAC members and guests strapped on skis or snowshoes to trek up the steep, snowy trail to Cloud Cap March 2-4. Those who made the trip were Peter Urban, Brian and Mary Bartholomew, John Coyer, Joanna Picci, Kat Armstrong, Joe Fitzgerald, Doug Adair and friend Bob Depuy, and Lou Schwab. As usual we were hosted by Crag Rat Scott Hukari and friend Steve Berkson. Deep, soft snow made the trip up a bit tougher, and there were high winds at the cabin the first night. We could hear the shingles rattling, but nothing blew off. We think. However, the next morning, and the rest of the weekend was sunny and relatively calm. Many headed up to snowshoe and ski in the snowy bowls above the lodge. The rest of the time we enjoyed great company and great food.
