Top 10 Reasons to stay away from Goat Rocks:
10. Requires traveling out of state (several hours, in fact)
9. There might be goats, and they'll eat anything including your food (we saw one at over 7,000')
8. There might be rocks (saw them too, cliffs even)
7. Approach requires hiking (no road to 6,000' like Timberline)
6. Might have to bivy in an alpine meadow next to a lake (I just hate it when that happens)
5. May have climbing companions (basic social skills required)
4. Could have bad weather and conditions (actually, it was pretty much perfect)
3. Climbing may require effort and moderate skill (what, no elevators?)
2. Might see a virga rainbow over Mt. Adams (yeah, baby - a Kodak moment)
1. Possible "karmic vortex" (good karma, that is)
