Alpine Academy (Lecture): Risk Management and Accident Prevention in Climbing and Mountaineering Tuesday 8/4 6p-9p

When: Tuesday 8/4/26 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Where: SW Portland (near Zoo) - location will be shared with Participants

What: Objectives for this lecture:

-Learn to assess and manage risk

-Understand common themes in climbing accidents and how to avoid them

-Develop a decision making and problem solving mindset that reduces the likelihood of an accident occurring

Who: Anyone who enjoys the outdoor.

Bring your favorite beverage and snacks and come ready to learn about how to better prepare for your next alpine objective.

We will most likely be sitting outside under awning. Dogs are welcome (fenced yard).
