The annual SAC weekend at Smith Rock State Park began early with most folks arriving Friday evening - Mark and Lynda's back yard was full of tents. Saturday we climbed 5.4 to 5.11 at Northern Point, followed by a taco feed and critical skill tests (croquet . . . ). Sunday we headed to the main areas climbing on the Dihedrals and Morning Glory Wall. The weather was mild and there were surprisingly few other climbers. It was great to see the newer climbers stretching their wings and surpassing their own expectations - bravo! Thanks to Lorraine, Amanda, Mike, Andy, Mary, Shaunessy, Cynthia, Stefani, Nate, Josh, Sarah, Jill, Jeremy, Mark, and Lynda for a great weekend.
