I will start approving applications after climb school (May 6th) to give new students a chance to apply. Experience climbers or SAC Assistant recommended to help me with a big group.

This is a 2 day trip with an overnight at 9500 ft. The first day, we leave the Cold Spring campground/trailhead (5600 ft) in the morning after picking up permits at the ranger station. We arrive at Lunch Counter (9,500 ft) after the 5 mile hike where we setup camp. The next day, we will do an alpine start where we will start heading towards the summit at sunrise. Once at the summit (3 miles), we will return to camp where we will have lunch and pack down our tents. We will head back to the Cold Spring that same day.

You should be able to hike comfortably with a ~30+ lbs backpack containing backpacking gears (tent, sleeping pads, sleeping bags, food, ice axe and crampons). You should know how to self arrest.
